Please note –  Physical Forms i.e. OMR examination application forms have been discontinued with effect from May 2017 examination onwards. Henceforth, all candidates will be required to submit examination application forms on-line only at http://icaiexam.icai.org . They will also be required to pay the exam fee on-line.

In this connection, candidates are advised to note the following changes made with effect from May 2017 examinations onwards:

Final candidates and Direct Entry candidates of Intermediate (IPC), through graduate/post graduate route are required to scan and upload their Certificate of Service, duly signed by their Principal/s on the above mentioned portal. Unless the Certificate of Service is uploaded, candidates will not be able to complete submission of the examination form on-line.

Format/s of the Certificate of Service are available on the said portal. Candidates are advised to print it, fill it up and get it signed by their Principal and keep it handy, before commencing filling of the examination application form online.

Step 1: Create Your Account:

For Submitting CA Final and CA IPCC Exam Forms, you need to Register new account. New account is mandatory for all students even you are already create account in last attempts, Means Every student require to create this account and authenticating your Student Registration Number (eg: CRO0123456) with your date of birth, your VALID email-id and mobile number. (In Case your Name is not displayed on entering the registration number and Date of Birth, you can still create the login as a PROVISIONAL CANDIDATE by providing correct particulars. You must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.)

After Creating New Account, you will get your login ID and Password at your mail address, Check you mail and copy your user name and password. Now you will require to login at icai online exam form website, After login please fill all require details carefully and confirm the particulars displayed in the Confirmation Page and Pay the Fees Online using Master, Visa Credit card or Debit card.

Clarification Applicable from May 2017

Important – Candidates whose photographs and signatures are in examination data base, i.e. those whose photographs and signatures are displayed on the screen, on the portal, when they log in, are not required to take a print out(PDF) of the exam form and submit it.

Important –  Candidates whose photographs and signatures are not in exam data base, i.e. those whose photographs and signatures are not displayed on the screen, are required to fill the examination application form, take a print out of the profile form, affix their photographs and signatures at the designated place, get the form attested by a Chartered Accountant or Gazetted officer or Head of an educational institution and submit the same at the designated offices of the Institute on or before the specified dates indicated on the portal. However, such candidates are also required to scan and upload their Certificate of Service, on the portal.

How to Upload Certificate of Service at ICAI Exam Portal

  1. Step 1 : Download relevant Certificate of Service  format from above download links..
  2. Step 2 : Fill all the particulars
  3. Step 3 : Get it attested from Principal/Member
  4. Step 4 : Scan the same in following image formats Jpg/Jpeg file of size 100-200Kb/ 200DPI resolution and keep it ready for uploading
  5. Step 5 : Visit on ICAI Official Exam form website – http://icaiexam.icai.org/
  6. Step 6 : Login in your Account by using your Registration Number and Password and your Dashboard is appeared (Note – If you are first time user then please register on ICAI Portal and then you will get password at your mail address)
  7. Step 7 : Click on “Apply for may 2017 Exams” OR “Click on Edit Application
  8. Step 8 : Now a Popup Window Show, Please click on Ok Button and you may reach at Exam form Page
  9. Step 9 : Scroll down below and you may see “DECLARATION CERTIFICATE ” tab, Same like below screenshot

How to Upload Certificate of Service

  • Step 10 : Choose your Scan File and your Certificate of Service IS Successfully uploaded at ICAI Exam Portal, fill all other required details n Submit Your Form

Please Follow Next Steps only in one case i.e. if your photographs and signatures are not in exam data base

Step 3: Login Again to Take print out of PDF form

Now you will Require to Login Again to Take print out of Exam form in PDF form on A4 size paper with Portrait orientation. Please Do Not print on both sides of the paper.

Please pay again and successfully get the PDF. You can send the email for the refund of fees. However, any multiple payments received by us for the same student (applying more than once with the same Registration Number) will be refunded by the office on its own at the end of the online forms process.

Step 4: Affix Photograph & Signature:

After Taking Print out of Exam form you will require to Paste your Photograph and Sign the form using Black Ink Pen and get the form attested by Principal/Member of the Institute/gazetted officer, as mentioned in the form printed in Step 3 above.

  10. Hello sir, I am CA Final student who is serving last 6 month of articleship as on may 01,2017. Sir, my question is , I have created a new account and my pic n signature is not appearing, so I have to send hard copy of Exam Form but is it necessary to get it attested by principal only, or any member of the institute can get it attested. Reason is , I have taken exam preparatory leaves n came back to my hometown however my principal is in other state. So, getting Exam form attested by my principal will be a time consuming process.

    • I GUESS WHEN WE GOT COMPLETION LETTER OUR PRINCIPAL HAD SIGNED CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE SCAN THAT AND UPLOAD.

      If you have your articleship completion certificate then sign certificate of service form from any member of ICAI or if you don’t have any proof for articleship completion then sign certificate of service only form your principle and upload same at ICAI Exam Portal…

      Your Form is not accepted at ICAI office after 26th August 2016, Then you will require to send form at ICAI office via post. Please submit form timely by sign your form from another principle and attach application for non availability of your principle.

      as per ICAI you may attested form by a member of the Institute or your Principal in the case of Final candidates. However in the case of Intermediate (IPC) Exam candidates, it may be got attested by a Gazetted Officer also. and In the member all chartered accountants are covered.

      Yes your Form is valid, If you are not getting your photo and sign in your PDF then affix your photograph & sign and attest Form from any ICAI Member and then Send to ICAI.

    1. Sir, if I wants to appear in nov 2016 exam, is this registration is valid? Or should I revalid???

      1. IPCC Registration is valid for 4 years, if you can fill form before 22nd august 2016 then you are not require to revalidate your registration for this attempt, otherwise read following article and revalidate your registration http://caknowledge.in/cpt-ipcc-ca-final-revalidation/
      2. Yes you will considered may 2013 attempt as failed
      3. ICAI not allowed mobiles for filing exam form so you will get error, please fill your exam form via any laptop or desktop computer.

      If you already filled your exam form then you are not able to edit your details, you may attach a application with Exam form with correct details and also attach a address proof and Please also Clarify from ICAI before take any action.

          There are no problem in site, i check again please enter correct registration number and Date of Birth and if problem is not resolve then only ICAI help your. You may also fill offline form by visit to your Nearest ICAI Branch.
