What is Net Banking?
We can use Internet banking to do many day-to-day transactions like NEFT, RTGS, IMPS etc. It can also be used for viewing balances, creating deposits, etc. Internet Banking can be used from anytime, anywhere and it is available 24 by 7 all throughout the year.
How does Internet Banking Work?
The internet banking system works with the help of Core Banking Solutions (CBS) that all the banks are operated centrally.
We do not need to visit our home branch for any transactions with the advent of net banking.

How to Use Canara Bank Net Banking:
If you are a Canara Bank Customer and you would like to use its net banking,
Here is the procedure to be followed by you:
Step I: Go to the website of Canara Bank
Link: https://online.canarabank.in/
Step II:
On the Right Hand Side, you will see the option of LOGIN on the page.
There you are asked to choose the type of banking – Individual or Corporate.
If you’re an Individual, you need to choose the Individual Option.
If you are not an individual, you need to choose the Corporate Option. Corporate option is for entities like and you are a corporate like Company, LLP, Partnership Firms, Corporations, etc.
Step III: User id & Password along with Captcha Code:
At the time of registering for Canara Bank Net Banking, the bank must have given you a User Id & Password. Never share it with anyone.
Important Note: The user id and password constitute very sensitive information. Never share it with anyone and keep this information confidential always.
Step IV: OTP (One Time Password)
OTP is a code which has got time validity. You need to enter it within a span of some seconds. Never share it with anyone.
In this way, you can login in your net banking account.
After logging in, you can do the transactions as needed, view your account statement, pay bills, etc.
Important Notes:
- Canara Bank never sends email for getting customer information. Please report immediately to nearest branch if you receive any e-mail purported to be originated by Canara Bank to gather your UserID or Password or any other personal information.
- The Bank does not ask for the details of your account/PIN/password. Therefore any one to be asking you for information from the bank / technical team may be fraudulent entities, so please beware.
- You should know how to operate net transactions and if you are not familiar you may refrain from doing so. You may seek bank’s guidance in this regard. Bank is not responsible for online transactions going wrong.
- The bank shall also not be responsible for wrong transactions and wanton disclosure of details by you. Viewing option and transactions option on the net are different. You may exercise your option diligently.
